Ard Rhi. This is one of several variations I designed simultaneously. I wove this belt in green and yellow 20/2 silk, and the colour and pattern just said 'Ireland' to me. Interlace 1. One of my first interlaced designs. Interlace 2. Another early design. Interlace 3. A 28-card wide interlace, somewhat better designed than the earlier ones. Part of a belt woven using the Interlace 3 pattern. Interlace 4. A modification of Interlace 3, using 42 cards. Leaves. A simple leaf pattern. A variety of knotwork patterns, using a 23-card template. This is a whole set of closely related interlaces, all derived from the same basic 42-card pattern. More knotwork patterns, for 48 tablets.
